Siddharth Nathella

Hey there! My name's Sidd, and I'm a mechanical engineering PhD student at Georgia Tech co-advised by Dr. Aaron Young in the EPIC Lab, and by Dr. Lena Ting in the Neruomechanics Lab.

My research work primarily focuses on using wearable robotics and biofeedback systems in gait rehabilitation, most often in children with neurological injuries. In my current work, I use optimization approaches to adapt these systems with the specific goal of maximizing adaptation and learning. I also explore using machine learning approaches to describe gait in an interpretable way to allow for better feedback and automated instruction.

I have an interest in robotics, human machine interaction, and in using games as a tool for rehabilitation. Our world is increasingly integrating with technology, and I want to use this to help people move better.
